From Six-Hour Setups to One-Click Recording
A UK consultant's multi-purpose home office turned into a permanent, one-click studio for YouTube, podcasting, and multi-day online teaching, designed and dialed in entirely remotely.
The challenge
Years of tech friction had stalled his video plans. His first ten-minute video took roughly six hours to set up, switching between cameras looked like cutting between two different rooms, and a cluttered background quietly undercut the result.
The solution
Working entirely remotely, we scanned the room and designed camera and light positions around how he actually teaches and records: a fast-lens main camera with tracking and webcam sources for clean multi-cam, ceiling-mounted soft lighting to free the floor, acoustic treatment for the voice, dialed-in camera settings, and a teleprompter so he can hold eye contact.

Both cameras now match instead of clashing, the desk sits in a clean U-shape with a centered camera, and the room finally works as a click-and-go setup, so his time goes into the work, not the setup.
